I trained under Kuljit Bhamra ji and Pandit Rajkumar Misra ji of the Jaipur Gharana at Bhavan London, earning a First Class Diploma with Distinction from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and becoming the first student in the UK to complete the GCSE Music practical on tabla (A*).
Classically trained and mentored in crossover performance, I draw from both deep Indian tradition and modern fusion.
I’ve performed at The Dublin Castle — credited with launching Madness, Blur, and Amy Winehouse — and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan UK, as well as at international cultural events. I see the tabla as a voice that belongs in all kinds of music — from Indian classical to bhangra, fusion, heavy metal, and rap.
For me, tabla and building companies follow the same principle: a few precise, needle-moving rhythms create more impact than endless noise.
